An elegant set of four 19th century Newcastle sterling silver teaspoons. One William IV teaspoon with marks for Newcastle, 1836. The other three Victorian teaspoons with marks for Newcastle, 1851. All four with marks for and made by John Walton. Active from 1821 to 1866, his premises were in Painter Heugh, Newcastle. All engraved with the letter ’N” to handle in script of the period.


Price marked at $1000 AUD the set.

Measurements: 70 grams total weight, 14cm length.

Very good antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
