A beautiful Edwardian sterling silver and hobnail glass communion wine jug with marks for Thomas Pratt & Sons, London, 1910. A distinguished firm of clerical tailors and church furnishers active from 1895 to 1910. The glass was blown into a mold with the letters L and L to the base.
This charming jug would have been used to hold wine during church services, and serve a similar purpose and be a fascinating topic of conversation at any dinner party.

Overall excellent very good condition, marks to exterior rubbed but hallmarks to interior crisp and legible. Tarnish to base metal wire around the base.
