Early to mid 20th century Nigerian silver bowl by Aikena Amadu, Kano

Lovely early to mid 20th century Nigerian silver bowl by Aikena Amadu. Well made with planished interior and lovely knot work pattern around the sides. Hand-hammered signature to bottom which reads Aikena Amadu Kano, Kano being the third largest city in Nigeria.

Tests as silver, approximately .700 silver purity.

Good vintage condition overall, with one small split to top as pictured, minor blemishes to surface.
