A beautiful Regency period English hard paste porcelain Bute shaped teacup with ringhandle, circa 1800s to 1810s. Intricately handpainted with Imari style colouration with a neo-classical lyre pattern.

A very similar style to two cups we have of the same period, with one being Minton. Certainly by a reputable maker such as Davenport or New Hall. Pattern number 202 in iron red glaze to base.

Price marked at $260 AUD.

Measurements: 8cm bowl diameter, 5.7 cm height

Very good antique condition. Minor wear overall commensurate with age, minor wear to gilt as pictured.
