Lovely pair of late Victorian English sterling silver fish servers with ivory handles, marks for Frederick Wilson & Co, Sheffield, 1900. First registered in 1883, Wilson & Co. were a firm specializing in small silver items and fine tableware. This set is particularly elegant with substantial silver blades and nicely polished ivory handles. With silver’s anti-microbial properties this is the perfect way to serve seafood whilst holding a particularly elegant table.
Price marked at $850 AUD.
Measurements: 24.5 & 30.5cm length respectively, 254g total weight.
Excellent antique condition overall; one stable and small split to fish slice handle, overall in excellent condition. Light wear commensurate with age, slight rubbing to marks but overall crisp and legible.
