 Lovely antique Chinese silver figural hairpin with base metal stick, circa 19th century, mid to late Qing dynasty. This has been mounted in a display case and would be perfect to display or carefully removed for use. Well depicted features and intricate filigree details of a sage or deity holding a staff-this would have been worn by a lady of status indicating her literary knowledge and virtue.
