Early to Mid 20th century Celadon Nephrite Jade Statuette of Two Tigers

A vintage, likely mid 20th century Chinese celadon nephrite jade statue depicting a pair of tigers with original custom wooden base.  With a beautiful celadon colourway and light transclucency, this is not only a lovely bit of jade but also an excellent piece of carving, with the tiger’s stance and features well depicted.
