A well carved vintage Chinese serpentine greenstone figurine of Shou Lao, the god of longevity. This variety of serpentine is referred to in China as Lantian jade, which is a variety of nephrite that is naturally interwoven with serpentine group minerals. A very nice green coloration with even hues, as well as well carved features. Affixed to original base.
