Beautiful Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug commemorating Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee (1837-1897). With sterling silver collar marked for London, 1898.

Top has the words “Dei Gratia Victoria Queen & Empress:, with the body bearing central medallions of young and old Victoria and the words “She Wrought Her People Lasting Good”. 

A well-crafted piece showcasing the craftsmanship of Doulton, as well as a piece of interest to Victorian history enthusiasts.


Price marked at $600 AUD. 

Measurements: 19.5cm height, 17 cm width from handle, approximately. 12.5cm diameter at widest point. 

Excellent antique condition with mild wear and firing flaws overall commensurate with age. Maker’s mark for sterling silver collar rubbed. Other marks crisp and legible.
