Art Deco / Midcentury Australiana Huntley Pottery Moulded Vase w Woodland and Deer Scenes

Charming Australian midcentury pottery vase by Huntley, a manufacturer which was active from 1937 to 1996. During WWII they made small ceramic good for the Army as part of the war effort, and afterwards in 1946 they resumed their decorative range with larger and more elaborate pieces. This particular vase would be circa 1940s to 1950s, and is beautifully moulded with woodland animals and flora motifs. Deer, rabbits, birds and woodland scenery can be seen surrounding the vase. A charming and relatively scarce piece.
