Beautiful antique High Victorian sterling silver sugar sifter, double struck in King’s Pattern. Marks for Francis Higgins II, London, 1861. The quality speaks for itself, with thick gauge and beautifully crafted details. Higgins II was active from 1817 to 1879, and produced very fine flatware for which they rose to great prominence in the silver trade, with their work featured in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
