Cache Antiques is introducing an exciting new chapter in our range of antique jewellery, featuring antique trade beads with bespoke settings by our artisans in Java. The history of beads is extensive, dating back to Neolithic times.

The hero piece of our trade bead collection, this remarkable necklace features 5 ancient mosaic glass beads with red, black and white canes as well as Indo-Pacific monochrome cobalt glass beads, dating form the Islamic to Jatim period. We have restrung these beads into a gorgeous necklace with a sterling silver toggle clasp and spacer beads.
