1930s Art Deco Royal Doulton Art Deco porcelain sweetmeat dish *as-is* in Caprice Pattern
A beautiful Royal Doulton Art Deco sweetmeat dish in the desirable Caprice pattern. This pattern was registered in 1933 and this piece is circa this period (the 1930s). With lovely abstract stylised floral details in bold primary colours offset by the green border and buttercream yellow porcelain body, this pattern encapsulates the Art Deco period at its best.
A very charming piece, this could be used at cocktail parties or even as a trinket/keepsake dish. Royal Doulton backstamp, Caprice pattern name and number to base.
Price marked at $60 AUD.
Measurements: 11.5 by 11.5 dish measurements , 4cm height.
Good vintage near antique condition; there is a repair to one corner as pictured but not overly obvious. Light crazing and yellowing commensurate with age.
