Here we have six beautiful Cauldon blue and white transferware plates in the Meissen pattern circa 1862-1904. Inspired by Meissen’s iconic Blue Onion pattern, these plates were made in the 19th century by Cauldon which was a renowned firm in its own right, having succeeded the famous makers Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. Beautifully made, these slightly vary in eras from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Price marked at $100 AUD each; Plate that does not ring true (last picture) priced at $80 AUD.

Please contact if interested in purchasing as a set (priced at $500 AUD).

Measurements: 24.5cm diameter, 3cm high.

Overall excellent antique condition, with minor firing flaws under glaze and kiln marks as commonly seen in antique transferware. One plate does not ring true, we have examined it carefully and there is heavy crazing under glaze but no visible cracks or chips.
