This beautiful and rare vase by Australian potter Rynne Tanton comes in a perfect shade of midcentury pink.
Its glaze is a truly unusual combination of crystalline and crackle glaze, creating an effect where the crystalline areas seem to be layered over a crackle background. This glaze technique was invented by Rynne Tanton and is thus unique, making each piece one of a kind. In particularly, the complexity of combining these techniques means that less than 10% survive the firing process; making these particularly rare on the open market. It is signed with the artist's full name on the base.

Overall in excellent vintage condition with only slight wear to base commensurate with age. The lining on this particularly piece is not adhesive and peels off easily; as such we have left it on to preserve the base and can be removed with buyer's discretion.
