This handsome Art Deco Danish sterling silver beaker would make an excellent sipping glass for whisky connoisseurs. With assay marks by Christian F Heise, Stadsguardien, 1930. The maker’s marks are overlaid with the Thor’s hammer mark (which mythology aficionados might know by the name of Mjolnir), which was a private Danish Trade Promotion Association known as “Landsforeningen Dansk Arbejde”. Inscription for Hans, 8.3.1931.
