A lovely antique Wiltshaw & Robinson Carltonware Sprigged ware, in a classic Horae or Dancing Hours pattern. Wiltshaw and Robinson were noted porcelain manufacturers in Stoke on Trent. A beautiful neoclassical piece, and the silver-plated servers, original to the piece, add a lovely finishing touch.
Stamped on the base with the earlier Crown Mark in blue, which dates this to 1894 – 1926. The pattern places this to being late 19th to turn of the century.
Price marked at $400 AUD. Measurements of 22cm diameter, 11cm high. Salad servers approx 27cm long.
Excellent antique condition, some light tarnish to servers and bowl rim, light wear to base commensurate with age.
