A lovely set of antique Viennese silver spoons with rope twist handles. Assay Marks for Austria-Hugnary circa 1872-1922, with the Dog Head mark which stands for .800 silver. Maker’s marks for Ladislaus Jarosinski (active 1879-1903) and H.S. for Hermann Sudfeld, a renowned maker who was active from 1879-1903. Illegible script on the backs of the spoons, possibly reading “Honka” or “Vonka”.
Price marked at AUD$250 for the set. Measurements of 11.5 cm length. 60.9 grams total weight. Excellent antique condition with wear to script and light wear overall commensurate with age.
