A beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver and cut glass ladies flask, with marks for London, 1894, George Betjemann & Sons. This mark was used by the firm from 1872 to 1899; their premises were on Pentonville Road, London.
Elegant repousse work to lids and faceted cut to sides of bottle.
The silver base with gilt interior is cleverly made to double as a travelling cup and is marked London, 1898, George Betjemann & Sons.
The name of the original owner, Rosa, is engraved in script of the period to lid.
Price marked at $350 AUD.
Measurements: 8cm height, 5.5cm across at widest point. 102.4gms total weight.
Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age.
