Lovely antique sterling silver propelling pencil with blank bloodstone seal to top. Marks for Villiers & Jackson, Chester, 1895. With a sterling silver jump ring to top, this would make a lovely charm or pendant.
Active from 1888 to 1923, Villiers & Jackson were based in Hockley Hill, Birmingham where a number of fine silversmiths worked and specialised in small items.

Measurements: 6cm length, total weight incl. base metal mechanism 18.6 grams
Exterior in good antique condition; mechanism is jammed. Maker’s mark rubbed but legible, one small blemish to base of pencil.
