A lovely antique silver-plated bachelor’s tea set circa 1900, comprising of small tea pot, creamer jug, sugar bowl and tea cup. With marks for W.M. Farmer and Co., one of Sydney’s premier department store. Cup, sugar bowl and creamer jug are gilt-washed.

Founded in 1840, the department store was at its peak between 1869 to 1961. Marked W.M. Farmer and Co to all bases and stamped H& H.W. to the tea pot and creamer jug.

Price marked at $300 AUD for the set.

Measurements: 16cm teapot height.

Excellent antique condition overall. Some wear to gilt interior and wear to base of teapot base.
