Antique *RARE* Adams Cobalt Jasperware Biscuit Barrel
Antique *RARE* Adams Cobalt Jasperware Biscuit Barrel
Mid 19th century Adams jasperware biscuit barrel in a beautiful cobalt colour way.
While nowadays Wedgwood tends to come immediately to mind, back in day Adams was also a renowned maker and still remains highly collectible.
This piece features fantastic workmanship with silver plated handles and mounts. The central feature of course is the beautifully moulded motifs of an English pastoral scene, with hounds, horses and what looks to be harvesters. The features are well depicted on the figures as well as animals.
A charming piece particularly for collectors of jasperware who desire something more unique.
