Here we have an antique Mary Gregory hand-blown cranberry glass vase, circa 1880 to 1900. Beautifully hand-painted scene in white enamels of a courting couple in a romantic garden. This style is named Mary Gregory after the most famous artist in this style. She was active from 1880 to 1884 at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, but her impact on glass art remains to this day.
Price marked at $750 AUD. Measurements: 33.5cm height, 12cm diameter at widest point, 6cm opening diameter. Very good antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. Pontil mark to base.
