Beautiful antique Hawaiian souvenir sterling silver spoon, with marks for Charles M. Robbins, an early American manufacturer of flatware in Massachusetts who’re active from 1892 to 1963.. They were known for their flatware, and this particular version depicting the Hawaiian king Kamehameha I is circa 1900 and particularly rare as it depicts the great king facing frontwards rather than left in profile. Then too, an etched design to the bowl shows a classic surfing scene.
Price marked at $400 AUD.
Measurements: 15cm length, 31.5g.
Excellent antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age, etched design to the bowl.
