Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Mirror by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1901

This lovely sterling silver mirror would make a wonderful living room or bedside adornment.

Its hallmarks indicate that this was made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham circa 1901. True to its era, it features a beautiful repoussé floral design and finely rendered art nouveau “whiplash” lines.

Measuring 35cm high and 22cm wide, while the frame is in excellent antique condition, the glass has a few specks (shown in picture) and the back needs a new stand. With this, the size and quality in mind, its price is as marked at $600 AUD.
