A beautiful antique Victorian crested Kings pattern double-struck thick gauge sauce ladle with marks for London, 1858, Elizabeth & John Eaton. Elizabeth Eaton was the widow of William Eaton who died in 1845- she would continue the business on her own and later be in partnership with her son John. The partnership was active from 1858 to 1863, until the firm acquired by Henry Holland & Sons in 1864.
Engraved with crest of stag and ducal coronet.
Price marked at $1200 AUD.
Measurements: 18.5cm length, 92.5grams.
Engraving of crest rubbed, otherwise excellent vintage condition with wear overall commensurate with age .Marks lightly rubbed but well-struck and legible.
