This stunning English Art Deco claret jug with sterling silver mounts was made in Sheffield, 1922. Made by premier silver makers Walker & Hall, this is of excellent quality and timeless style.
The body is a classical Art Deco trumpet form, with the sterling silver mount evoking an earlier Edwardian sensibility with echoes of Christopher Dresser.
The mount has a well-formed thumb handle and pouring spout.
