Charming antique Chinese export silver dragon figural placecard holder circa mid to late 19th century. Artisan’s mark Cum Ji to base of one foot; retailer’s mark missing but likely made in Canton or Shanghai during the 19th century, and similar to pieces retailed by Wang Hing and other firms of note. A elegant little piece with well depicted features and an engraved scale pattern throughout the body.
