Antique Chinese Basin with Polychrome Decoration

Antique Chinese basin with polychrome decoration. Large, exportware wash basin. Significant wear to the interior enamel decorations but the basin body itself is still in excellent condition.  Around exterior loosely handpainted patterns in red glaze in Swatow style. The underglaze is a beautiful colour and overall this is a large piece of antique Chinese porcelain for the price.

One old chip under glaze, i.e. (a production flaw when made). Wear to base commensurate with age. Issues with glaze as described. Otherwise fair antique condition.
