Elegant antique French .950 silver seal circa 1900s in original retailer’s case by Maison Guerre, Dijon (maker’s mark obscured). With marks for French first standard silver purity, which at .950 is higher than that of sterling.
Weighted, which gives this seal a nice heft, and engraved with initials “CM” in script of the period, and beautiful repousse work throughout.

Measurements: 7cm high, 27.3 grams total weight.
Excellent antique condition overall with wear commensurate with age, marks rubbed but legible.
