This hand-blown Victorian cranberry, uranium and opalescent glass epergne is an absolute statement piece. Vaseline glass was traditionally made using uranium circa the 19th century, and remains highly desirable. Ruby or cranberry glass, which was achieved using gold chloride, is another desirable colourway. Furthermore, the beautifully ruffled edges and applied rigaree details make this piece, with its multiple desirable colour ways, a truly special combination. Displaying some of the best characteristics of Victorian glassware, this exemplifies 19th century charm.
