Mid Victorian Set of Two Shallow Dishes, Attributed Minton. Gilt and Rose Motifs c 1850-1853
This beautiful set of two plates are circa mid 19th century and are attributed to the famous English porcelain maker Minton.
Both plates have their diamond marks, albeit one more legible than the other. The mark is from the first series (1842-1867) indicating the design was registered on the 13th April, 1850.
