1930s to 40s Art Deco Chrome and Early Celluloid Plastic Preserves Pots

These Art Deco preserve pots circa 1930s to 40s feature a lovely pierced design that shows off the green early celluloid canisters. A very collectible colour and good early plastic, quite possibly xylonite. Certainly the colour combination gives that classic Deco look, as well melding form and function- as you push the handle down the hinged mechanism lifts the lids to show the contents.

Measurements: 19 cm wide by 15 cm high. Individual pot dia. 7.5 cm

Condition: Very good vintage condition with slight wear commensurate with age. No chips or cracks to the celluloid.
