1930s Talbot Stylised Sail Mascot Hood Ornament, Vintage British Classic Pre-War Car Part

Based upon research, we believe this Art Deco automobile hood ornament to be a 1930s Talbot Stylised Sail Mascot Hood Ornament.

Talbot was a British automobile company founded in 1902, which ceased operations by the 1950s. This makes their Art Deco cars quite rare, with their hood ornaments being few and far between on the market. 

A very stylish ornament that would be perfect to complete one’s classic car or as an office display piece for classic car aficionados.

Measurements: 15.5cm length, 5.5cm height. 

Good vintage near condition. Metal is in good condition with some pitting, wear to chrome finish as pictured. Great candidate for rechroming but we have left this as-is.
