A charming 1950s Beswick “Jeremy Fisher” figurine, depicting the iconic character from Beatrix Potter’s children’s books. Her books which depicted various woodlands characters from the English countryside remain a childhood staple to this day.
This particular version is the first version, which shows the character with his little jacket and spotted legs.
The basestamp is a BP2A Gold Oval, and the figurine was modelled by Arthur Gredington. The figurine was released from 1950 to 1974.

Measurements: 8cm tall.
Excellent vintage condition, with some overall crazing and minimal wear otherwise commensurate with age.
