An elegant set of six George V sterling silver coffee spoons with original case and marks for Sheffield, 1923, Joseph Rogers & Sons. Their premises were on Norfolk Street, Sheffield and this mark was used from 1929 to 1939 during the inter-war period; unfortunately, the firm would close upon the advent of WWII.
Price marked at $660 AUD the set.
Measurements: 11.5cm spoon length. Cased measurements 15.5 by 17.5 Total weight 93.1 grams.
Excellent antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age and use. Marks crisp and clear including company’s trademark punch of star and cross.
