This fantastic set of 5 antique Liberty & Co Cymric sterling silver coffee spoons have marks for Liberty & Co., Birmingham, 1902.

Liberty and Co.’s Cymric Range was launched in 1899, and was well known for its hallmarks of excellent craftsmanship which drew inspiration from Celtic elements and Art Nouveau elements, forming its distinctive take on the Arts & Crafts movement.

Designers that worked on the Cymric range include Archibald Knox, Bernard Cuzner, Jessie King, A.H. Jones and Oliver Baker. Produced by W.H. Haseler in Birmingham for Liberty & Co., the Cymric range was an enormous success while it was being produced from 1899 to 1926.

Very good antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. Partial rubbing to various marks, overall legible.
