Pair of George III serving spoons with later 19th century presentation box

An elegant pair of George III serving spoons with marks for London, 1790  with later 19th century presentation box.

These spoons were over struck in the 19th century with a later sponsor mark for Deprez, the famous Bristol retailer and silversmiths. Their premises were on Park Street, Bristol. 

During the Victorian period these elegant spoons were given new life by having spiral shell patterns embossed to the bowls.

Tastefully done and a highly unique pattern.

Price marked at $2750 AUD.

Measurements: 30 cm length, 183 grams.

Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age. One corner of box lining to interior lifting. Marks as described, crisp and well-struck.
