A lovely pair of antique George II crested sterling silver tablespoons, with marks for London, 1754, Benjamin Cartwright II (active 1754-1782).
The crest depicts a cinquefoil gules, attributed to the Vernon family.

Minor dimples to bowl, one bowl slightly out of round, otherwise good antique condition and thick gauge with light wear overall commensurate with age. One monogrammed EH in script of later period (circa 19th century).
