Antique Song dynasty DIng ware dish

An antique Song Dynasty Ding ware dish, circa 960 to 1127 AD. The beautiful creamy white glaze, with its rich patina, speaks to this piece being nearly a 1000 years old. This bowl has an elegant simplicity characteristic of Song Ding Ware, with a biscuit coloured body and unglazed upper rim, as well as the distinctive foot rim with wheel mark.

Measurements: 14cm approx. diameter, 3.5 cm height.

Some wear overall, commensurate with age; tiny fleabites to rim and base. Minor firing flaws, loss of glaze as well as yellowing/ staining and crazing as pictured. This would be very good antique condition considering the age of Song porcelain.
