Lovely antique Imperial Russian silver butter spreader. Marked and tested for 84 zolotnik which is .875 silver purity, assay marks for Moscow 1886 and sponsor mark FW which based upon research we attribute to the workshop of O.F. Wennerstrom, St. Petersburg, founded in the 19th century but remained in production until 1900.

Measurements: 38.3 grams. 19.6cm length.

Excellent antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
