Antique High Victorian Barnard Brothers sterling silver teapot in late Regency style

A stunning High Victorian sterling silver teapot in late Regency style with marks for London, 1840, Edward, Edward Jr. John & William Barnard. 

One of the most prominent silver dynasties in English history, the Barnard silver firm was commissioned by Queen Victoria to create the Lily font, a large silver gilt baptismal font used in the christening services of members of the British Royal family.

Measurements: Handle to spout 28cm length, 18cm height, 16.5cm diameter. 745.2 grams weight.

Excellent antique condition, one minor blemish within one cartouche. Otherwise minimal wear overall commensurate with age.
