An elegant set of George III sterling silver tongs with marks for Exeter, 1809, Joseph Hicks. Hicks was active from 1780 to 1835 in Exeter, and he used this mark from 1795 to the 1830s.
Price marked at $350 AUD.
Measurements: 13.5cm length, 31.7 grams.
Excellent antique condition, minor wear overall commensurate with age. Sponsor mark rubbed, no date mark.
