Antique 18th century early Qing crab and seaweed dish

Lovely antique 18th century early Qing crab and seaweed dish circa late Kangxi to early Jiaqing Period, featuring a blue & white pattern with central longevity motif. The word for ‘crab’ in Chinese is a homonym for harmony, making it a popular motif in Chinese culture, particularly for auspicious occasions such as birthdays.

Measurements: 18.5cm approx. diameter, 3.5 cm height.

Some wear overall commensurate with age; tiny fleabites to rim and base. Minor firing flaws as well as some staining and crazing as pictured. This would be very good antique condition considering the age of Qing porcelain. Old provenance level to base.
