Vintage possibly antique Moorcroft Pansy pattern bud vase

An excellent vintage to antique  Moorcroft Pansy pattern bud vase circa 1920 to 1940. William Moorcroft began his career working for the MacIntyre company in the late 19th century, and by 1904 he had perfected the technique of tube-lining.
In 1912 he left to establish his own pottery backed by Liberty & Co, which sold many of his products, and which was later succeeded by his son Walter. This vase is in the Moorcroft signature Pomegranate pattern, and is a lovely example of Moorcroft, and displaying a beautiful range of colours signature to Moorcroft with 2 open pomegranates.
Moorcroft pieces remain highly desirable today.

Excellent vintage to antique condition. Incised marks crisp.
