This beautiful Victorian double-struck Kings Pattern tea caddy spoon has marks for London, 1856, William Robert Smily. Smily was active from 1842 to 1857, producing many fine pieces of tableware and flatware. This particular spoon is a lovely example of work, being substantial and of thick gauge with well-balanced bowl and crisp pattern.
Price marked at $600 AUD.
Measurements: 10cm length, 34.9 grams overall. Spoon bowl measuring 4.5 by 4.5cm.
Very good antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. Light rubbing to marks, overall legible.
