Late Victorian sterling silver jewellery casket

A lovely late Victorian sterling silver jewellery casket with marks for Birmingham 1900, Thomas Hayes who was active from 1887 to 1902.

Lovely Rococco Revival details including rope-twist border details, repousse motifs to lid and base and clawed feet.

Price marked at $850 AUD.

Measurements: 6.5cm height, 128.5 grams weight.

Very good antique condition with superficial dings around base and wear overall commensurate with age. Marks lightly rubbed but well-struck.
