Late Victorian sterling silver and cut glass toiletry jar

Elegant late Victorian sterling silver and cut glass toiletry jar with marks for Birmingham, 1897, A & J Zimmerman. Arthur and John Zimmerman had their premises at Regent Place, Birmingham, and were active from 1889 to 1929.

The cut glass is beautifully made in a diamond and cushion pattern.

Price marked at $550 AUD.
Measurements: 9.5cm height, 7cm base diameter. 36.2 grams silver weight.
Fair antique condition with wear to silver as pictured from previous over polishing and minuscule fleabites to top of glass commensurate with age. Marks partially rubbed but legible.
