George III crested sterling silver salver, John Parker I & Edward Wakelin

Elegant George III crested sterling silver salver with marks for London, 1772, John Parker I & Edward Wakelin (active 1759 to 1774) Beautiful tri-footed base with scrolled feet and gadrooned border. 

A beautiful albeit worn armorial to centre; with much of the distinguishing details rubbed, discernible motifs include that of a lion rampant to centre and crossed halberds to the bottom right corner.

Price marked at $5000 AUD.

Measurements: 21cm diameter, 2.5cm height. 435 grams.

Very good antique condition, wear overall commensurate with age; crest rubbed.
