Antique William Moorcroft Fruit & Berry pattern lidded bowl

An excellent antique William Moorcroft Fruit & Berry pattern lidded bowl circa 1918-1926. William Moorcroft began his career working for the MacIntyre company in the late 19th century, and by 1904 he had perfected the technique of tube-lining.
In 1912 he left to establish his own pottery backed by Liberty & Co, which sold many of his products. This lidded bowl is in his signature Fruit & Berry pattern, and is a lovely example of early Moorcroft, and displaying a beautiful range of colours signature to Moorcroft.
Moorcroft pieces remain highly desirable today.
